• Title: Worst-case Mahler measure in uncertain networked control systems

• Abstract:

  The Mahler measure plays a key role in networked control systems as it allows one to derive stabilizability conditions for such systems. This talk presents our recent results for estimating the worst-case Mahler measure in networked control systems affected by polytopic uncertainty. It is shown that conditions for establishing upper bounds of the worst-case Mahler measure can be formulated through convex programs with linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). It is also shown that the conservatism of the upper bounds can be arbitrarily decreased for a sufficiently large (finite) size of the LMIs, which is known a priori in some cases.
